Psychotherapy and the Natural World - Exploring the other than human in the process of therapeutic healing and discovery.
So much psychotherapy takes place within the confines of a consulting room. But what happens when therapy takes place in a natural setting - or when the natural world is invited into the narrative of self and other? This conference brings together the practices of ecology and psychotherapy to illustrate how engagement with nature is a powerful transformative tool, both in itself and - potentially - when integrated into any therapeutic approach
October 5th Human Nature - Soul and soil. A day long workshop at the Margaret Alyward Centre in Dublin. This workshop is open to carers, therapists and those wishing to build resilience in their work and personal lives. Connecting with the wisdom of the body moving, and nature, this workshop is a day to explore embodied and embedded practices that enable us to live more deeply as part of our environment rather than apart from it. This is a helpful taster for those interested in exploring Eco Psychology and Eco Supervision further.
