Home as Studio - an online offering

Picture
" Put down the weight of your aloneness and ease into the
conversation. The kettle is singing
even as it pours you a drink, the cooking pots
have left their arrogant aloofness and
seen the good in you at last. All the birds
and creatures of the world are unutterably

themselves. Everything is waiting for you.  "   ( David Whyte)

These short 1 hour workshops  invite us to enter into relationships with our homes as studio. As spaces and places that offer permission, freedom to play, encouragement  and inspiration  " to be within our  present and evolvng life" ( Orbach 2020).  On these dark nights and mornings  when we are spending so much time in our homes  it is helpful  to" ease into the conversation" with all the materials , textures, structures and space that co create with us  our home lives.

These workshop therefore will explore through movement, play and stillness  our relationship with the home of  our bodies and  the home of our dwellings. We will explore  the possibility of greater dialogue between the spaces we inhabit and our daily life movement as we move within our homes.

Each workshop is stand alone. although participants are invited to attend as many  as possible to build on the work of each week. This will enable  you to  incorporate the learnings  from each session  into your daily life movement.
